Desserts & Snacks - Apple Crisps
Ingredients:
6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and cut into wedges
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbs. lemon juice
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced into 1/8 inch thick slices

Preparation:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice and toss to combine. Arrange apples in an ovenproof baking dish.
2. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt in food processor. Add butter and pulse until butter is cut into dry ingredients and the mixture clumps when you squeeze it between your fingers.
3. Sprinkle oat topping over apples and bake, lightly covered with foil for 30 minutes.
4. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until topping is browned and crispy.
