Soups and Toppings - Prune Dessert Topping
Ingredients:
1 cup St. Dalfour's prunes
1 cup Armagnac
2 sticks cinnamon
1 cup Armagnac
2 sticks cinnamon
Preparation:
1. Cover the prunes with the Armagnac and allow to macerate in a saucepan for at least 3 hours.
2. Add cinnamon sticks and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until liquid is almost entirely evaporated; the prunes will be very plump and moist.
3. Discard cinnamon and serve over ice cream, frozen yogurt or by themselves.
