Dear Peter and staff:
I wanted to send an update to my original letter that you responded to back in late January of this year. Since that response I have lost more weight and have hit a total of 95 pounds. I need to clear up some information. I had originally wrote that I started off at 215 pounds which was incorrect my actual starting weight was 225 pounds. My bmi numbers were correct starting at over 40 percent and currently at last caliper and digital hand machine test it was 28.2 percent. My actual percentage of body fat was under 30%. I can not believe how much better I feel. I recently went to see my primary physician and he ran some tests and found that my cholesterol dropped even more, and my blood pressure was normal. But most of all I had good healthy lung sounds, and my skin coloring, and hair and nails looked healthy.
I am so excited about the massive changes in my life I had to send you the latest photo and include another thank you. By watching your show you really changed my life. At the moment my trial membership at the gym was going to expire and my time with my personal trainer is done so I am relying on other ways to keep exercising to tone up all that excess fat rolls from losing all that weight. I am walking every day and alternating with running time, in addition to roller-skating twice a week. I also use one of those balls to do crunches and I bought hand weights 8 pounds to do some toning. I was hoping you could offer some added advice as to how I can do serious training workout without the expensive cost of joining a gym. I am still helping my parents with the costs of my brothers funeral and I do not have a lot of extra left in my budget after all my bills are paid. I am hoping that you have some good suggestions you can offer that will help me continue to get to my goal weight.I am 25 pounds away from my total goal it seems so close but yet so far away.
Keep up your great job with educating people and motivating them. I honestly would not be where I am at now if you were not out there in the public talking about your own trials and tribulations with your health. It was enough to motivate me to get moving and eat healthier and look where I am now 95 pounds thinner and so much healthier. I have gained so much of my lost self esteem back and am actually enjoying life one day at a time. And incase you forgot I included my starting photo of what I was when I was sitting on the couch watching your show. You really touched my life and gave me the push I needed to go forward and stick to it.
Thank you again
