Safe Summer Fun

June 03, 2010

Summer is finally here. It's time for the kids to put away the video games and TV controller and join in the summer games. But first, play it smart. If your child is playing sports or going to summer camp, they'll have a physical. That's an important first step, but what if your child likes to play sandlot ball, shoot hoops, or hang out at the neighbors pool? This week on Peter's Principles, we're talking about our children's safety. Please join us for pointers on how to help your children enjoy summer activities, no matter what they are! Joining Peter this week will be Louise Aloe, MD, Sports Medicine Specialist, Lori Bestervelt - PhD., Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer for NSF International and Bob Ferguson, Vice President Of Water Systems for NSF International. The show airs Sunday, June 6th at 8:00 p.m. on Newstalk 760 WJR.
