Medals awarded to first place winners in each age bracket with prizes and gifts to overall winners. Peter will speak and lead warm-ups. The event is sponsored by The Perfecting Community Development Corporation in Detroit, in partnership with the American Heart Association and the Detroit Medical Center. Thirst for Life 5k Run/Walk Join Peter for Thirst for Life’s event benefiting a Team World Vision, a Christian relief and development organization dedicated to helping children, families, and communities worldwide reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. Team World Vision is currently working on a project will help combat problems caused by a lack of clean water by funding water and satiation projects, particularly the building of wells in the villages of Mayo & Hamandu, Zambia. All money raised by the event will go to Team World Vision.
