January 08, 2015As of 2009, one in three American adults have high blood pressure ... and approximately 1 of 5 of them are unaware of their blood pressure problems. Being aware of your blood pressure is the first step. After that, relieving that pressure could be as simple as a few chores! A recent study indicated that when people with high blood pressure did daily household chores, such as housecleaning, yard work and washing the car -- their blood pressure dropped! Researchers found that regardless of the intensity, four hours of chores throughout the day caused high blood pressure to drop. The benefit lasted an average of 6 to 8 hours! Consult your health professional if you have or are concerned about high blood pressure, it can cause heart attack, stroke and kidney failure!
