Another Healthy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a truly American holiday. It is the opening act for winter, a day for sharing and breaking bread with families and friends; a day to give thanks for and truly appreciate our good fortune. While Thanksgiving may seem to be the kick-off for a season of over-indulgence -- the average American takes in 2,000 calories at Thanksgiving dinner -- the Thanksgiving meal can be a healthy, home-cooked reflection of a true, home-grown American cuisine.
